Mr Kasem first qualified in medicine in 1991. As such he is one of the most experienced surgeons within Elanic. He is a consultant general surgeon at Wishaw NHS Hospital in Glasgow and in his private practice, he has chosen to specialise in weight loss surgery. After reviewing outcome data over many years he has chosen to focus his weight loss practice on the gastric band and gastric balloon procedures.
